We aim to provide a broad, vibrant and ambitious modern foreign language curriculum that inspires and excites our pupils.

Using the Language Angels scheme of work, children are introduced to a wide range of engaging topics and themes that support the development of the four key language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Our curriculum is carefully planned and regularly reviewed to ensure progression in knowledge and skills across the primary years, while meeting the national expectations. Through language learning, we encourage pupils to develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine enjoyment of languages, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the wider world. Our aim is to equip children with strong foundations and the enthusiasm to continue learning languages beyond Key Stage 2 and become life-long language learners.
