In 2019 our children selected and voted for houses, naming them after animals that can be found in the woods next to our school.

All children are placed in houses when they arrive at St Mary's, and they vote for the captains and vice-captains in an election at the start of the school year. The Year 6s who apply for this honour prepare and share speeches in house hustings before children take part in a secret ballot.
